The time has come once again! Dakar 2025 is just around the corner, and we’re proud to announce that Lubecore is once again a proud sponsor of Team Eurol Rally Sport. This year, we’re supporting not one, but two powerful trucks: Mitchel van den Brink with Truck #602 and Martin van den Brink with Truck #606.

The prologue kicks off on January 3rd, and the race concludes on Friday, January 17th, with participants tackling an awe-inspiring and grueling course of nearly 8,000 kilometers through the Saudi Arabian desert. Now in its sixth year in Saudi Arabia, the rally promises to be more challenging than ever, featuring over 5,000 kilometers of specials and extreme conditions that will push drivers, vehicles, and teams to their limits.

In such a punishing environment, reliability is paramount. That’s where Lubecore’s advanced lubrication systems come into play. Our technology helps protect the vital components of the trucks, ensuring they stay in peak condition as they navigate the desert terrain.

WANTED: Test Drivers

As an Automotive Truck Industry manufacturer of Automated Greasing Systems (AGS), we are looking for test drivers to test the limits on our equipment.

We are specifically seeking Ohio based owner-operators with heavy milage trucks and time-sensitive loads, or trucks with special additional equipment attached to the truck (dump-trucks, cement-trucks, mobile cranes, etc.).

Your Task as a Test Driver

Drive and work! Well, that’s what the job is all about, isn’t it?

We will install a complete Lubecore AGS on your equipment (tractor) to grease everything on your truck automatically. All we ask from you is, you guessed it, drive and work with your truck! Give us updates on your experiences with the system. Aside from never needing to grease your truck by hand anymore (in mud, heat, snow…), you’ll share with us your experiences with the Lubecore system and grease we provide for you for one full year. Save yourself a lot of free time and assist us as we look for data in grease consumption and wear on parts.

Our Lubecore dealers and service technicians follow these additional guidelines for working on your equipment:

• We do not car-pool as we want to keep our technicians safely separated from each other
• When scheduling we will be requesting a private bay or outdoor space in the yard to work in
• We will make arrangements with you before our dealers and service technicians go to you about how, when and where they will work on the equipment and how they will communicate if there are exceptions (telephone/WhatsApp)
• Our technicians will respect social/physical distancing and wear gloves and masks in any situation interacting with you
• They will take extra care of cleaning, and sanitize all touch/contact points on the equipment before leaving

Good or bad times, at Lubecore, we are still ready to serve and protect your equipment. It’s your company’s second most significant investment (after your associates).

Safety is the priority for your associate. As long as they are safe, this could be the time to let us work on your equipment in the meantime.

Lubecore Optimum 5th-Wheel Lubrication

Lubecore will be performing fuel economy testing with PIT group ATA approved using SAE protocol.

LO5L will be tested in a controlled environment.

What is LO5L?

LO5L stands for Lubecore Optimum 5th-Wheel Lubrication

I have been in the Automated Lubrication business for 30 years now. From experience we know:

• Dry 5th-wheels are unsafe
• Dry 5th-wheels impact handling
• Dry 5th-wheels increase steer tire wear (scrubbing)
• Having a dry 5th-wheel is comparable to having drive axle misalignment (as confirmed by TMC)
• Cummins, speaking for fuel economy guide, relates misalignment to fuel economy by a factor of up to 2.2 percent

We will be testing three greases:

1. Lubecore EP2 chassis grease
2. Lubecore EP0 chassis grease
3. Lubecore biodegradable 5th-wheel grease

Our questions for testing are:

• Does an under-lubricated 5th-wheel increase fuel consumption?
• Does LO5L save fuel and if so, how much?!

Lubecore Models Innovation at Manitoba AG Days 2020

The Manitoba Ag Days Show is an exposition of agricultural production, technology, and equipment that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across North America. Professionals, agriculturists, and traders meet and proliferate their knowledge and expertise in the agricultural sector, initiating innovations in farming. The show was held last week in Brandon, Manitoba.

That was the perfect place for Lubecore to display brand new, dedicated Agricultural innovation that can save farmers and operators enormous amounts of time and money, all while eliminating even more dirty work for them.

Lubecore has designed an Automated Greasing System for Air Seeders, or Air Drills as they are often called. A typical machine could contain as many as 70 rows with up to 500 greasing points, costing around $30,000 while only being utilized a few hundred hours per year due to the seasonal duty of the equipment. Lubecore’s new Remote Grease Bank System offers flexibility with 3-5 points per row on the Air Drill, and up to 70 rows concurrently greased easily at a fraction of the costs of a traditional system.

We received very positive responses from visitors to our Ag Days booth, and  Lubecore team member Albert Boonstra was happy to demonstrate how farmers and operators can save a lot of money, get rid of some dirty work, and protect their equipment simultaneously.

End the Guesswork: Grease Volume Delivered Meter

In order to maintain and run an efficient fleet of vehicles, optimal lubrication is a key component. The problem with manual grease lubrication is that no matter how skilled your mechanic is with a grease gun, there will always be a certain amount of guessing involved. This leads to under/over-lubrication, both of which are harmful and wasteful.

By equipping you to apply just the right amount of grease, Lubecore’s Grease Volume Delivered (GVD) Meter protects your seals from too much or too little lubrication, meets equipment manufacturer requirements, and keeps accurate and up-to-date records.

It’s time to take the guesswork out of manual grease lubrication in order to accurately service your vehicles’ grease-volume requirements.

GVD Meter Benefits

• Can be used in conjunction with a grease gun
• Displays accurate measurement of the volume delivered to critical grease points
• Meets equipment manufacturer lubrication specifications
• Protects critical bearings, and reduces downtime from both over and under-lubrication
